Ronald McDonald House at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and close to the Royal Children's Hospital, offers a 'home-away-from-home' for the families of seriously ill children who are being treated at local medical facilities.

This allows families to stay together in a homelike environment at a fraction of the cost of a motel room, for as long as they need to, thereby helping to preserve the family unit in the midst of physical, emotional and economic adversity. It also offers parents the chance to draw hope and comfort from other families in similar situations.

Ronald McDonald Houses are funded through generous donations from businesses, community groups and individuals.
